Name: Erin Crandall
Hometown: Chicago, IL
Major: Education
Weenie Class: Fall 2011
It is not hard to see why this Chicago girl earned this title. Not only is she a dedicated member of Texas Spirits, but everyone can agree that she can immediately brighten your day with just her smile. Erin is a second year education major, who aspires to teach in low income schools in inner-city Chicago once she graduates. Here are a few fun things to know about this week's Spirit of the Week:
What is your favorite animal?
Elephants. Because when you're little and you have to do the animal game and match your name with an animal, elephant is the only animal that starts with an E.
If you had a theme song, what would it be and why?
Diva by Beyoncé. Only because I don't know any songs about being a princess...so a diva is the next best thing.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
At a Pluckers Meet & Greet, I stood up on the ledge and smashed my head against the TV that was above me. I proceeded to make everyone, including prospectives, touch the bump on my head for the rest of the night.
What is your favorite thing about Texas Spirits?
This is going to be really corny...but I love having a home away from home. Being thousands of miles away from home, it is comforting knowing that I have a family in Texas.
What makes your Ghoulfamily unique?
First, we're the best. That's obvious. We have such a mix of strong headed, stubborn, loud attitudes in addition to the sweetest, quietest personalities; but we are literally obsessed with each other. I think everyone is scared on my G-fam, but really we just spoil each other with love.
What is your advice to younger Spirits?
I would say get to know older girls. Even though they may seem intimidating, they offer great advice. And they love you, even if you don't think they do!
Congratulations, Erin! CIWY
