Intramural Spring Soccer

This season, Texas Spirits joined with the Texas Wranglers to form an intramural indoor soccer team. The team featured a few seasoned veterans as well as some fresh faces. Spirits on the team included: Hook ‘Em Haunts Bridget Dunn and Caroline Suter, Andrea Chao, Rachel Sawyers, Hannah Roberts, Maya Brown, Ashley McAdams, Aly Starling, and Lane Follmar. 

The team was eager to return to playoffs again this year, and they did not disappoint. Finishing bracket play with 20 goals for and only 5 against, the team qualified for the playoffs. The team won their first three playoff games, advancing to the semifinal game where they played their hearts out, but they unfortunately lost 5-2 to the eventual intramural champion. Although the team was disappointed that they fell short of claiming the coveted intramural champion shirt, they are proud of their accomplishments and can’t wait to see what next season has in store for them.
