Forty Acres Fest
This past Saturday, The University of Texas hosted its annual event, Forty Acres Fest. Texas Spirits painted faces and handed out baked goods, all while raising money for Make-A-Wish Foundation and Saint Louise House. Along with the lovely Texas Spirits, Forty Acres Fest showcased live music, other organizations, and fun games too! Texas Spirits had a booth next to the Texas Iron Spikes who sold fajitas to benefit their philanthropy as well. Thankfully the boys let us share their tent to keep us cooler on a warm, sunny, spring day in Texas. Another highlight of the day was when a Spirits alumnae's boyfriend, Ben Baxter, and his band preformed on stage. Spirits spent the day dancing, painting, and making people smile, like we always do! Forty Acres Fest is always one of our favorite events and it was just as enjoyable this year. Texas Spirits spent a beautiful day on campus at the school we all love. Hook 'em and CIWY.
