Micah 6 LIVE

The Micah 6 food pantry has one goal - for us to work together as a city to identify and meet the needs of the homeless and impoverished in the Austin area. What began in 2004 as a simple food pantry has grown to so much more today. In 2010, Micah 6 reported over 19,000 recipient shopping trips. Texas Spirits has been volunteering at Micah 6 since the spring of 2011. The food pantry is open on Thursday nights and Saturday mornings. Volunteers generally help set up the shopping area, break down boxes, collect paper work, bag groceries, help shoppers, and much more.

On Sunday, April 21, University Avenue Church of Christ and University Christian Church are putting on an event called "Live." The event's proceeds and all the money raised will benefit Micah 6 Austin. Families and kids of all ages are invited to attend this multimedia experience.
