What does Texas Spirits Mean to you? Being a Texas Spirit means striving to uphold our pillars of love, friendship, service, and spirit. It means being surrounded by a group of passionate, diverse, and inspiring women who are constantly motivating me to take life by the horns.

What is the number one thing on your bucket list? I know this sounds like a cop out, but I really can't pick a number one. I'd love to: summit a mountain whose peak sits above the clouds, run with the bulls in Spain, throw a murder mystery dinner party, write and illustrate a children's book, see the Northern Lights, make a large donation to a meaningful charity... the list goes on and on!

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? Texas Spirits is the place where I've met the girls who are helping me to become the best version of myself. I am inspired every day by the girls from my weenie class, and the older actives who have helped to make Spirits the amazing organization it is. When I am with Texas Spirits, I look around and am inspired by each girl's confidence, their dedication to all of their interests, and their humility, the pure selfless attitude with which they commit to making a difference at UT. My friends in Spirits encourage me to reach for my dreams, support me in all my endeavors, and join me in sharing my love for this university. Without Texas Spirits, my experience at UT would be incomplete: I have learned so much from the friends I have made and I have become a better person from knowing them.
What is the number one thing on your bucket list? The number one thing on my bucket list is to eventually travel to the tiny country of Bhutan. Wedged between China and India and formerly known as the Kingdom of Bhutan, this country is known as one of the happiest in the world. When I first learned about Bhutan in high school geography class, its largely untouched environment and culture immediately drew me to it. I would love to visit a place where the environment is cherished, where I could hike and climb and be away from the hustle and bustle of cities for a while. I think visiting Bhutan would be the most fulfilling adventure possible. It would be like stepping into another world where there would be nothing to think of but the beauty around me.

If you were a candy bar... I would be a Snickers. Like a Snickers bar, I am a little nutty but also sweet. I always strive to help make the people around me happy.

What does Texas Spirits mean to me? Texas Spirits is literally my home away from home! I know that I have 150 girls who have my back and are my best friends through it all. It's such a great experience from being an only child to gaining so many girls to call sisters!
What is the number one thing on your bucket list? I really want to go zorbing! (Seriously google it). I think it would be so much fun, and I've never done anything like it before! Basically you're in a giant inflatable ball and you are in the middle of the water trying to move.
If you were a candy bar... I would be a milky way. I love love love caramel and chocolate together. Sorry, I got a little excited but it's just so awesome (and I'm awesome).

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? Texas Spirits gave me so much more than I ever anticipated. When I first got in during my freshman year I really didn’t know what I was getting myself into, but now a year later I can look back and see it was the best decision I made in starting my journey at UT. The girls I have met through this organization give me the strongest support system, the greatest encouragers and the best of friends. It has truly been such an honor to serve amongst such passionate women and I could not have asked for a better organization to be a part of!

What is the number one thing on your bucket list? Although it’s a lofty goal I would have to say winning an Academy Award! Ever since I can remember I loved watching the Oscars, dreaming that I would be accepting that little golden guy one day. It is the ultimate achievement in film and that recognition for my work would be beyond imaginable. So for now I’ll just keep working, and with a little bit of luck, possibly find myself making an acceptance speech in front of the world.

If you were a candy bar... I would be a Cookies and Cream Hershey’s bar mostly because they are delicious and my favorite. But to be metaphorical about it, they are sweet but definitely have some of that Oreo crunch to them and I like to think I’ve got a little bit of that crunch in to me too!

What does Texas Spirits Mean to you? Texas Spirits is a group of incredible women who inspire me to be a better human being and pouch me to try things and reach for my dreams. All of these women are role models to me and I am so lucky and thankful to be a part of this family.

What is the number one thing on your bucket list? I want to travel to every continent (maybe every country) to learn from unique individuals and experience new cultures from around the world.

If you were a candy... I would be Hot Tamales!!!! Because...duh.
