What does Texas Spirits mean to you? To me, Texas Spirits means acceptance and inspiration. The incredible women of this organization never cease to amaze me in the way they love each other and serve the world around them. They pick me up on my bad days and always push me to be the best person I can be.

Who are some people you’d like to meet someday? Besides the obvious (Matthew McConaughey, of course), I would love to meet Jimmy Fallon, Emma Watson, and Benedict Cumberbatch.

What accomplishment are you most proud of? My proudest accomplishment is being chosen for the 2016 Texas 4000 team. It is an absolute honor to become a part of such an impactful organization, and I can hardly wait to kick cancer's butt on the way to Alaska next summer!

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? Honestly, when I think of Texas Spirits I think of a home away from home. I know I will always have someone to fall back on, laugh with it, and tell horribly awkward stories to. Texas Spirits has awarded me the chance to be surrounded by accomplished women who inspire me everyday and college would not be as wonderful (or fun) without this experience.
Who are some people you’d like to meet someday? Okay I would really love to meet Mia Hamm because I was obsessed with her growing up as a soccer player. I heard she sometimes shows up at the UT soccer games sooooo I’m coming for you Mia. I would also really love to meet Benedict Cumberbatch (because why not), and Khaled Hosseini. Oh and Sheryl Sandberg!

What accomplishment are you most proud of? I am most proud of my involvement in Texas 4000 and how I have raised over $4500. Also I just got an internship with TI which I'm pretty excited about.

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? Man this question is so loaded. I never thought it would have made such an impact on my life, but spirits really means so much to me. It's more than an organization, more than a group of friends - like everyone says, it's a family. Spirits has helped me pave my path and inspire me ever since I've been involved in it, and it has just meant the world to me.
When you were a kid, what did you want to be when you grew up? It's funny - when I was younger I never said I wanted to be a "painter" or a "figure skater" or a "singer." I always said I wanted to be a "part time Pablo Picasso, Michelle Kwan, and Britney Spears." I also went through a phase where I wanted to be a rapper and even got cornrows.
If someone asked you to give them a random piece of advice, what would you say? Don't dress in yellow if you want to dress in gold. (Inspired by Hilary Duff, and one of my favorite pieces of advice of all time.)

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? Texas Spirits means waking up at 5 a.m. to feed the homeless. It means having pledge class movie nights with endless pizza and cookies. It means game days with the loudest cheering (and best dressed) girls in the whole stadium. Texas spirits means getting the incredible opportunity to spend 4 years with the most diverse, loving, ambitious, and best friends that anyone could ever ask for.
If money was no object, what would you do all day? If money was no object, I would book the soonest flight to Haiti and spend the day on the beach with the coolest kiddos on earth.
Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island? One of my two childhood best friends, Alex Margolies or Sofia Lopez. Ryan Reynolds would also be okay.

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? Being a Texas Spirit means opportunity and tons, I mean TONS, of love for one another. I have been blessed to befriend such talented women who share my dedication to schoolwork, my enthusiasm for UT, and my compassion for helping others. I couldn't imagine these next four years without this family.
If money was no object, what would you do all day? EASY, with money as no object, I would travel to new places all day. Getting to see every corner of the world is such a big dream of mine!
Who would you want with you if you were stranded on a deserted island? My first thought was Bear Grylls, the ultimate survivor guide, but to be honest here, Logan Lerman. He's so gorgeous, and I'm just so fascinated with his life and acting abilities. Plus, he'd have to marry me, duh!

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? To me, Texas Spirits is a family of inspiring women. It is where I can be completely myself and motivated to be so much more at the same time. Each of these girls is incredibly driven and ambitious toward very different things. It is amazing to listen to any one of them talk about their passions and it inspires me to go above and beyond for the things I care about too.

If you could be a character in any novel you’ve ever read, who would you be and why? If I could be a character in any novel I have ever read, I would be Hermione Granger. I love that her intelligence has always meant more to her than beauty and she isn’t afraid to show it. Also she is a wizard, which would be SO FUN.

What was your favorite game to play as a child? My favorite game to play as a child was either Dance Dance Revolution or Sing Star. I would sing along to the songs on both games for hours with my sisters.

What does Texas Spirits mean to you? It means never having to say you're sorry, and if you've never seen the movie Love Story I strongly suggest it.

If you could be a character in any novel you’ve ever read, who would you be and why? Oh man, thats a toughie its impossible to choose just one character but Stargirl by Jerry Spinelli has to be one of my favorite novels.

What was your favorite game to play as a child? When it comes to sports definitely volleyball or soccer.
