Spirits came decked out in red, green, and yellow for the Rugby Stoplight mixer Saturday, January 29th. Each color clothing represented a person’s relationship status; the red represented the person was taken, and green meant they were single and ready to mingle. As for yellow, let’s just say, “it’s complicated”. With a sea of green, the mixer was destined for a fun and flirty time.
The dance floor cleared out to make way for all the expert dancers to teach us how to “dougie.” Who knew rugby boys could dougie so well? Another dance craze that brought everyone to the dance floor was the “Bernie.” The “Bernie” is based on the movie Weekend at Bernie’s, where two guys carry around a dead guy and pretend that he is alive. The dance floor was packed with people leaning back and breaking it down in a zombie-like fashion. With dances like these, who knows what the next dance craze will be? Maybe the “Cat Daddy”? All in all, it was another fun night out with Spirits. Get excited for Weenie Oahu and many more mixers ahead!
