Congrats to last week's Spirit of the Week Jackie Wang! She has been so excited about recruitment and was a huge help in our kickoff event, Cookout for a Cause.
Jackie is a 3rd year Journalism and Government major from El Paso, Tx and a Spring 15 Weenie. Outside of Spirits, Jackie has been a contributor to The Daily Texan for two years, a part of student government and a volunteer at The Harry Ransom Center. She is also a frequent patron of Kinsolving Dining.
"I love being a part of an organization with women of different interests, from different places and who bring so many different things to the table. Being a Spirit has given me more ways to be involved on campus and serve our campus community as well as Austin. I also have an amazing group of girls who always will be up to hang out, get coffee, to study with and "study"with. (Getting that perfect crease in my scarf and keeping it also has its own measure of satisfaction.)"
